Bad Lands

Bad Lands - 01/05/2025

Hau Everyone,

After the sacred encounter with Sungwakaη, Horses Nation, I continued driving deeper into the Bad Lands setting tire tracks in the deep wind blown snow.   As I cautiously meandered through the canyons & buttes I camp upon tȟatȟáŋka — buffalo — A true relative for the Oyate.

Tȟatȟáŋka moved powerfully & slow foraging for the grass under the snow cover.  Their coat’s glistened from wind blown snow & sparkled in the rising sun.  I had stepped back in time slowing down to Unci Maka rhythm breathing in the essence of Tȟatȟáŋka.

Pilamayayelo,

Would like to thank Kimberlee McCarty & Diana Alcantara for their generous donations of food, Clothing and money to share in Lakota Country.
